XIII. Concurso de Fotografía de Montaña y Naturaleza de Oñati 2016
La sección de montaña del Aloña Mendi organiza como todos los años su concurso de fotografía, este año en su decimotercera edición.
Bases:
Es un concurso abierto a todo fotógrafo.
Existen dos apartados:
A: El ser humano en la montaña
Fotografías de actividades realizadas por el ser humano en la montaña, exceptuando la competición. P. ej, alpinismo, travesías de montaña. Trekking, escalada, parapente, BTT…
B: Entorno de montaña
Fotografías que muestran el entorno de la montaña: paisajes, montañas, flora, fauna, detalles…
La Organización podrá eliminar del concurso aquellas fotografías que considere no cumplen con los requisitos.
Cada participante podrá presentar como máximo un total de 3 fotografías en cada apartado. No se admitirán fotografías premiadas en otros concursos.
Existe una cuota de inscripción de 10€ por fotógrafo participante a abonar a través de Paypal
Un participante únicamente podrá optar a un premio en cada apartado. El premio Oñati lo podrá ganar el fotógrafo oñatiarra que no haya ganado otro premio en ese apartado.
El Jurado estará compuesto por 3 fotógrafos expertos, sin relación con el Aloña Mendi.
Inicialmente realizarán la selección digital de 40 fotografías, 20 en cada apartado. Estas fotografías se imprimirán y la decisión final del jurado se realizará sobre las fotografías impresas.
No se podrá impugnar la decisión del jurado.
El club Aloña Mendi podrá utilizar las fotografías impresas en sus publicaciones, o bien con fines solidarios, señalando siempre el autor de las fotografías.
Cualquier contingencia no contemplada en estas bases será resuelta por la Organización
Presentación de las fotografías:
La inscripción se realizará a través de Internet, en el portal www.concursosdigitales.com
Las fotografías se presentarán en formato jpg, espacio sRGB, sin ningún tipo de marco.
A las fotografías elegidas para la exposición, al imprimir, se les colocará un marco blanco de hasta 60x40.
Cada fotografía se deberá presentaren resolución baja y alta, con los siguientes tamaños máximos:
Baja resolución: 72ppp. Lado mayor, máximo 1440 pixel (50,8 cm). Y el lado menor, como máximo 907 pixel (32cm) . Peso máximo, 1 Mega
Alta resolución: 250ppp. Lado mayor, máximo 5000 pixel (50,8 cm). Y el lado menor, como máximo 3150 pixel (32cm). Peso máximo, 6 Mega
Calendario
9 de Octubre: Cierre del plazo de presentación de las fotografías
4 de Noviembre: Decisión final del jurado y comunicación a los participantes
7 al 20 de Noviembre Exposición en la Casa de Cultura de Oñati
11 de Noviembre: Reparto de premios, dentro de la Mendi Hamabostaldia

XIII. Oñati Mountain and Nature Photography Competition 2016.
Like every year, the Aloña Mendi mountain club is organizing their photography competition, this year being the therteenth edition.
Terms and conditions:
This is a competition open to all photographers.
There are two sections:
A:  Humans in the mountains
Photographs of activities done by humans in the mountain, except for competitions, i.e. mountaineering, long hikes, trekking, climbing, paragliding, BTT and so on.
B: Mountain settings  
Photographs which show mountain settings:  scenery, mountains, flora, fauna, details and so on.
The Organization will be able to eliminate from competition those photographs which they consider do not comply with the requirements.
Each participant will be able to enter at the most a total of 3 photographs in each section.  Photographs which have been entered in former competitions will not be admitted.
Each participant will only be able to aim for one prize in each section..  The Oñati prize will be given to a photographer from Oñati who has not won another prize in this section.
There’s an inscription fee of 10€ per photographer, to pay using Paypal
The judges will be 3 expert photographers, with no relation to Aloña Mendi.
Initially a digital selection will be made of 40 photographs, 20 in each section.  These photographs will be printed by  Aloña Mendi.  The final decision of the jury will be made from the printed photographs.
It will not be possible to challenge the decision of the judges.
The Aloña Mendi club will be able to use the printed photographs in its publications, or for solidarity purposes, always indicating the author of the photographs.
Any contingency not considered in these terms and conditions will be dealt with by the Organization.
Presentation of the Photographs:
Inscription will be done on Internet, on the following website

The photographs will be presented in jpg, sRGB space, without any type of frame.
All the photographs which are chosen for the exhibition will be given a white frame, up to 60x40.
Each photograph should be entered in low and high resolution, with the following maximum sizes:
Low resolution:  72ppp.  Bigger side, maximum 1440 pixels (50,8 cm).  And the smaller side, maximum 907 pixels (32cm).  Maximum weight, 1 mega.
High resolution:  250ppp.  Bigger side, maximum 5000 pixels (50,8 cm).  And the smaller side, maximum 3150 pixels (32 cm).  Maximum weight, 6 mega.
Calendar
9 October:  Deadline for entering photographs.
4 November:  Final decision of the judges and contacting the participants.
7-20 November:  Exhibition in the Culture Center in Oñati.
11 November:  Presentation of prizes, as part of the Mountain Fortnight, in the Culture Center in Oñati, at 7 pm.
